AND IT FELT GREAT
To my surprise my guild hadn't removed me after a month without activity. I decided to get back into "heal mode", which is also what I'm trying to play in LotRO, and did a quick Heroic Mechanar with little strife. Feeling satisfied with my "welcome back to PVE" dungeon, I log onto Laughing Skull (PVP) and tinker around a bit in Dustwallow Marsh on my level 39 rogue. To my dismay, no one chose to challenge me while I was getting my quests done. I ran into one bugged quest mob that you have to kill in front of Onyxia's Lair. After queuing up a ticket for a GM I tabbed out, which cannot be done in LotRO (but I hear is normal in MMO's) and after 15-20 minutes my problem is resolved and I log off after killing a dragon.
So I guess I'm back on the "stuff" that keeps most WoW subscribers around and to be honest, I couldn't be happier. The real question is, for how long? It seems in my old age, cough, I cannot stay focused on a single game for very long. I don't know if that is healthier or not, but I've accepted it now. Hopefully gas prices will drop to something more affordable, there are a lot of console games on the horizon that I must have. Ninja Gaiden 2, The Bourne Conspiracy, Fallout 3, Fable 2, Gears 2, and maybe soon I'll find a goddamn Nintendo Wii!
